These are some of my
attempts at "artsy" photos:
Taken from thumbnails of my pics on the internet (quality will
hopefully be better when personally scanned)

The Empress Cixi used this temple complex as a "way" station
when she traveled from the Forbidden City to the Summer Palace in
Beijing. The complex is now the small Beijing Art Museum, filled with
Imperial quality examples of Chinese art, porcelain, jade, etc.
In Guilin, there is a park surrounding Fubu Hill. This is one
of the limestone formations in that park.
This is typical scenery along the Li River outside of Guilin.
The karst topography is unworldly.
Since it was the rainy season, the mists were heavy, and the
skies were almost always overcast.
This is along the Li River, outside Guilin.
